Collection SS27 — Lookbook Nature doesn’t negotiate. Neither does Ergot.
For Ergot’s SS27 collection, the world was built from the inside out — a jungle constructed within concrete walls, tropical plants pushing against pipes and ceilings, candles burning on stacks of books, skulls carried like offerings. The tension between the organic and the industrial is not metaphor here, it is the set. The figures don’t pose against it — they inhabit it, disappear into it, emerge from it. Body paint that merges skin with shadow. Silhouettes that feel simultaneously post-apocalyptic and ancient. This is fashion as ritual, as territory, as argument. Ergot’s obsession with appearance and identity made physical — and then placed somewhere it was never supposed to survive.
