Stela Alusi is a photographer and art director based in Berlin, working worldwide. Raised on the island of Kefalonia, Greece, she grew up with that particular Mediterranean quality of light — the way it falls sideways in the late afternoon and turns everything it touches into something worth looking at. It gave her an eye for beauty that does not announce itself. You have to be paying attention.

With over thirteen years of professional experience, her practice spans fashion editorial, conceptual portraiture, campaign photography, and film. She approaches every project as a full creative process — concept development, casting, styling direction, on-set direction, and post-production — building cohesive visual worlds rather than isolated images. Her work is rooted in a single obsession: the tension between softness and edge, between the surface and what lives underneath it. She is not interested in images that ask nothing of you.

Her editorial work has been published in PhotoVogue / Vogue Italia, Faces Magazine, Nasty Magazine, Faze Magazine, Rollup Magazine, and Pump Magazine, among others. She creates visual identities for music artists, shoots campaigns for fashion brands, and directs projects that sit at the intersection of fashion, portraiture, and conceptual storytelling. She is currently in pre-production on her first short film as director.
